THE BRAINS BEHIND SHOES OF WISDOM

Ayanda Kubheka: loves children, game changer, csi consultant, curriculum designer, artist at heart, chief executive officer, executive producer, content creator, aspiring writer

The late, John Lesiba Moshoeu became affectionately named and known as "Shoes", he was a professional international footballer, football coach, businessman, motivational speaker and philanthropist.

HOW SOW STARTED

"Shoes" and Ayanda participated in a "support a child" initiative that was promoted by a  children's centre in Soweto, through that initiative they supported 2 children. few months later they took on a formal parental role to the children.

The journey inspired the implanting of the Shoes of Wisdom seed, Shoes of Wisdom was formally established on the 5th of March 2013.

In the years 2014, 2015 and the first part of 2016 when "Shoes" fell ill and later passed away, Shoes of Wisdom was brought to a complete halt to begin the healing process.

In September 2016 following her engagement with the Moshoeu family and receiving their blessings, Ayanda wore her patronage hat and resumed from where they left off. Solid structures have since been put in place and the vision encompasses a tribute to the legacy of the cofounder, the late "Shoes" Moshoeu - the legacy of knowledge and goodwill.
